Since the start of school, many students at Texas State have been seen playing a popular mobile game with their smartphones. In this Bobcat Update, Christi Kerr tells us about how Pokemon Go is trending on campus.

Pokemon Go combines game elements with real-world locations, requiring players to explore the area and visit certain landmarks to play the game. On campus, players can catch Pokemon, collect items from Poke-stops, and battle other players' Pokemons for control over their gym. On-campus hot spots include Alkek Library, the U-A-C, and the Vaquero statue.
