Senate Bill Eleven, also referred to as Campus Carry, is now in full effect at Texas State. The law allows individuals with a concealed carry license to carry their weapons on campus. Kyle Kloza has more in this Bobcat Update.
Texas State has several resources available to educate the campus community about the new law, which allows weapons to be carried in classrooms and faculty offices. Students have mixed opinions about the law:

Certain areas of campus are still off limits for those who carry weapons. For example, guns are not permitted at athletic events where alcohol is served, nor are they allowed at the president's home. For Bobcat Update, I'm Kyle Kloza.
