As enrollment rises at Texas State, the number of available parking spots on campus decreases. But a new 300-Thousand square foot parking complex is under construction. You might have seen the big, red and white crane on the north campus. It's being used to create Texas State's newest addition. The Matthew Street parking garage will be six stories tall and will have a one thousand-car capacity. The construction also includes the future Parking Services Office. Forty thousand pounds of rock were excavated when the crew broke ground last December. They plan to complete the project by July.
