October is Breast Cancer awareness month, and the San Marcos Professional Fire Fighters Association is doing its part to help. Last Sunday it sponsored a 5-K run to raise funds. Money collected as part of the Pink Heals race will go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. The firefighters will also raise funds at a rally later this month.
