Gay marriage - Should religion play a role or is it strictly a civil matter? Questions, like these, are raised each week at Texas State, in what's called the Dialogue Series. Students can earn extra credit by attending the discussions that highlight what are often controversial issues. Among the topics students and faculty talk about include religious freedom, stem cell research and capital punishment.
