The Student Government of Texas State has passed legislation to name the newly constructed area that runs parallel to the Quad. Leanne Kelley has this Bobcat Update.
The S-G-A wants to name the area that runs from the Undergraduate Academic Center to the Den. Commons. S-G-A voted on the legislation late last month. Student senator Elijah Miller is excited about the legislation he helped pass.

Students and faculty think giving the area a name will give it a point of reference and make it easier for students to put it to use.

Commons is familiar name on campus. The area that's being named is next to the Commons Dining Hall, which has served Texas State students for many years.. For Bobcat Update, I'm Leanne Kelley.
